
Adrian Halverstadt joined the Firm as an Associate. Adrian received his law degree in May 2008 from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio, and his bachelor’s degree from Huntington University in 2005, graduating magna cum laude with majors in both accounting and business management.

Matt Roth has been elected to serve as the 2009 Chairman of the Board for the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce. Matt has served on the Chamber Board of Directors for 4 years

Lisa Garrott became a partner of the Firm on January 1, 2008.

Rick DeLaney has been elected President of the Huntington County YMCA Foundation Board. The YMCA Foundation manages assets of approximately $1.6 million. Rick has also been recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Parkview Huntington Hospital Foundation.

On February 24, 2009, Michael Hartburg spoke at the first quarter Town Roundtable sponsored by the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns (IACT). The Roundtable was held in Huntertown and focused on Code enforcement. The focus of Mr. Hartburg’s presentation was how Towns can deal effectively with public nuisances including tall grass, open burning, excessive noise, vacant structures, and excess trash and junk. He covered the Town’s statutory and practical options for getting properties back into compliance with the Code and recovering their expenses for doing so. The meeting was attended by Town representatives from Andrews, Warren, Churubusco, Huntertown, Leo-Cedarville, Grabill, Monroe, Fremont, Hamilton, Hudson, Poneto, and St. Joe, and by City representatives from Muncie and Marion.

Lisa Garrott has been named to the Pathfinder Foundation Board of Directors.

Dennis McNeely - Elder Law Institute
- Dennis attended the two-day Elder Law Institute which is annually co-sponsored by the Elder Law Section of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Senior Law project of Indiana Legal Services, Inc. The seminar covered in detail a wealth of topics dealing with the special legal needs of older adults.
